1st one is okay, I like the idea of the smudges with the render but the bg seems kind of bland. Maybe try making the bg a bit sharper and try making the colors more vibrant, so it stands out more. 2nd one looks awesome! I like the lighting and the overall flow of the sig.
good idea, but the execution can be better, use more layers of the melt' also work in water stock and give it color to make it look more realistic and with some drops at end, this tag looks like its not done has major potential for a great tag just needs more work
