I need help with this. I dunno where to put the text...orrr what color...it all looks crappy. Someone help? If you have any other criticism, just say it, it'd be greatly appreciated xD PS: I put the black "H" in the bottom right corner to show that I actually made it. =D
One thing is for sure: the render is way to blurry. I don't feel that there is any flow either. Just mess around with some gradient maps and stuff. I don't know anything about text.
agree with what was said above, + i don't like the centered render. for the text, try to divide the whole piece in 9 equal parts. on the intersection of those lines (you should have 4 (2 horizontal lines and 2 vertical lines)) try to place your text. in this case i would go for the bottom right intersection, as the render is "open" to that side (it kinda blocks the left side because of the hair, i feel). i would go for a pretty basic 'squarish' look (similar to the font of the H). color: dark purple (as the hair) type your text, put it to soft light at 100%, then duplicate and put it to normal on 30% (or whatever percentage looks good) this usually comes up with a nice easy looking text. if still not satisfied, try to toy arround with the blending options
i'd have like 50 percent of the text showing in the signature, probably in the bottom left, kinda big, then make a clipping mask and **** with it until its noticable that it's text. idk how else to explain that. haha
