Nice adver. Care to explain more? Like, what's the project about?

I'm interested to read your story on this.

Not much to it. Just a promo ad for the Google android OS.

And if you've seen star wars, you'd know the line "These aren't the droids you are looking for"

I know you like to make brochures for cellphones (It's your job description), but you could be a little more inventive than a grayscale, cliched reflection job. It's the stuff of beginner Photoshop tutorials.

Execution of it is very good (although I still don't like the font choice), but it's rather dull.

    Thanks for be constructive.

And this isn't a brochure... print design differs greatly from web media.

If you put it in context... this will be on a page with tons of other content. We can't have one ad stealing all the attention. Plus, if it's too busy, the message gets lost. And if you want to talk about "basic" photoshop skills, these device images were built from the ground up in illustrator and made photo-real in photoshop.

lol, then what's with all the choppy edges? Looks to me like they've just been cut out in Photoshop.

Again, web optimized graphics tend to lose quality.

That's not artifacting, that's sheared edges from someone who sucks with the pen tool.

Have you ever converted a vector image to raster? And do you even know what that means? ... Well this is what it looks like.

Sorry to say this, but that's a mistake. In my opinion, vectors should never be raster. Why? Well, do I have to say and point the obvious?

Vectors are suppose to be sharp smooth and look natural. Never to be mess with it's natural state.

In my opinion, if you were going to make vector shapes or this add. Why make it half in half? You could of done the whole thing on illustrator (or whatever vector program you use) and finished it there. You'd get much better results for printing and web. Second, why not just save one part as a psd and then continue it on Photoshop, leaving the shapes as their own.

Again, raster a vector, Big Mistake.

I've done it plenty of times when exporting designs from Illustrator to Photoshop, and that's not a result of it. That's simply choppy edges from shit pen tooling. I've even seen that exact same image of the Aria that you've used on the web. You just cut out the buttons above the circle button at the bottom and made the screen area longer. Stop fucking lying all the time.
