The bright to dark instantly everywhere is too much. Make the render pop out a little more so that we can see that he is there. The Q in my opinion should be a different font and maby a differeent color. Experiment with it. Look up some tutorials on blending, text and smudging and maby change the backround around a little more. Look up some c4d tutorials as well and keep experimenting. Other than that it looks quite nice.

some of the effects flow nicely and I like wat u've done with the render...it blends well, but it needs to stick out more...the "Q" seems out of place and the border doesn't look that good...plus the whole sign just seems a tad too shiny for my taste...it's nice, just could use some more work

    I agree with Cheech.

The effects with the render flow nice.

Blending render along with text work will help.
Lowering brightness over effects will fix lighting problem,
and in conclusion some border work.

Your on the right track with cool sig. ;)

You got some great stuff man! I feel that the depth is becoming a real problem for you. I mean, you don't add any >:[

Add some depth, and you'll see just how wonderful the focal will be...

try and make the very obvious photoshop filters less obviously. distort them so i can't tell that a large part of the background isn't just like a wave filter or whatever (sorry i don't have photoshop on this comp and can't remember what it's actually called). i think that if you tried to make it look a little more abstract and original, along with the whole adding a little depth and changing the strictly dark to light with no real mid tones, you've got, like everyone here has said, a good signature in the works, just needs some small refinements. :)
