true i really cant wait for our generation to be in the govt. but by that time it will be our kids turn to vote and they will say the same thing....its a circle
Our generation will **** things up, no doubt. It's nothing to do with age, but purely to do with the influence of money on politics. It's what it all comes down to. The more lucrative a country becomes, the harder it gets to have a government focussed not on aiding corporate profits, but providing for it's people. The whole mentality regarding Government in America needs to change. Most people don't consider the government to be representative of themselves, but rather a 3rd party force which acts against them. In some respects this is true, because it is the political circles of today who determine who will be in the political circles of tomorrow.
I'm one of those people that don't sit at a computer nose deep into politics all day to know the specifics, then bash other people for just stating there opinion. And if a "9/11 conspiracy theorist" separates me from people like you i'd gladly sign up. Much better then being Gamerender's alltime arrogant dickhead..
Next time don't make mindless comments if you cant be bothered even learning the first thing about the issues you complain about. Also, just so you know, all of the claims made by 9/11 conspiracy theorists have been conclusively, scientifically disproven by numerous independent sources and publications. The fact you don't already know this shows how little you care about checking whether your opinions are wrong.
ya maybe, sure. if you ever have the time and open mind to hear some other peoples opinions on the matter, you should definitely give this a watch. In honor of 9/11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7E3oIbO0AWE
lol I've already seen Loose Change 9/11, and Zeitgeist, and when I was little I believed it. Then I actually did some real research and realized the foundations of the conspiracy theory have been disproven almost since the day it happened. Popular Mechanics did an excellent round up of the common myths (i.e. Steel melting point too high to be melted by burning jet-fuel, seismograph readings, size of hole and no debris at pentagon) and systematically disproved each one. Sorry, but if you think I'm the one without an open mind, you're just retarded.
That theory which is supposedly true, will NEVER come on air on YouTube or any other public channel for that matter. If you know the truth about *something*.. You wouldn't be alive, but believe me... Appearance and Reality are as contradicting as it gets. And, no one can prove me wrong about this. =]
The government hates you and they don't want to help you. Everything you think is a benefit is a facade for something else. </thread>
I keep out politics.(the news makes me pissed)Any way, i wonder what Canada's governments like.Always wanted to move there.Won't have to deal with all this politic shit! Why can't we be all open minded Not greedy bastards.
Well, being Canadian it's just as retarded. You guys don't have a very important state wanting to jump ship and become it's own country like we do - so every election there's this constant lingering worry that Quebec may actually get what they want It's not as loud an opinionated in terms of the actual news sources though, The Hour, 5th Estate, CBC News, CP24, are (thank the lord) nothing like Fox and CNN. That's unique to just you guys I think. >_> The liberal leader is a prick, leaving our country for over 10 years and returning right when stephan harper's conservative government won because he "sensed an opportunity to win" and decided that he would finally come back to Canada -.-; Its not as bad as the states from what I gather, our elections don't last 2 years thankfully - only a few months, with a few debates and press appearances mixed in. We're a bit luckier that our leaders actually talk about issues rather then vague generalizations in their debates though.
New Zealand is the best country. It's the least corrupt country in the world, we have free healthcare, excellent public schools, gun crime is almost non-existent, and everyone will be nice to you.
Racism isn't a big issue. There is a little bit of tension between some of the more radical Maori politicians (Maori being the indigenous people of NZ), wanting special rights over certain parts of the country (old tribal land, foreshore and seabed), but in general everyone is pretty accepting. Anyway, we have so much influences from the Pacific Islands, Asia, and Europe, that we haven't really had the chance for any generation spanning grievances to exist.
