If the color was more vibrant this would be a great sig, the kind of 'paper' effect also takes a little away from it.
its the white you have in it, theres to much in tiny specs, and that glow around the edging theres to much color in it, to have the white placed in like that, it's taking away from the colors
1 - Create a new layer after you're finished with your image. 2 - Image > Apply Image 3 - Filter > Other > High pass (I believe it's in the "other" category) 4 - Work with about a 4.2. You might have to try different numbers but going over 5 for tags/sigs won't look as good. 5 - Depending on how you want this to affect your image, (B&C + Sharpen, Only B&C) you're going to set it to either overlay or soft light and tinker with the opacity.
That method works for sharpening your image in a way that the normal sharpen filter just won't cut it, so if you do use it make sure you do it to the image without any sharpen in it. It also gives some vibrancy and contrast depending on how much you allow the colors to bleed with the settings and your blend mode.
