Its not us you should be asking as we are already here.. You need to find a way to get new/ more traffic over here.. Check the market and see what sites are up etc.. see what they have that's attracting people there and not here.. Simples*
Hey guys, I don't know if you remember me, but I've been there and done that back in its prime. Became a designer team on some signature forums and stuff. This was when I was crazy about sigs and anything gfx related and it just sucked the life out of me back then. I even thought about having a career related to it. Seems that eventually reality struck and got off my ass from the computer, study, get into university and taking life science, worked throughout this summer, got my car I've wanted, hang out with friends, get a girlfriend, etc etc. And I just looked back on my old hard drive and found bunch of sigs I've made back in the day and gave me a big hump of nostalgia. Good times man, good times.
hey man. sounds like you're doing well. I'm just starting the whole university thing myself, just finished up at a community college. Kind of had a chill summer, but the fall will kick my ass. 3 upper division courses, boardmember in the finance association(damn I'm good) and hopefully an internship... all while working part time.
Start blockin some stuff! "I'm sorry but u must be registered to do anything on gamerenders. thank u." <----- all it takes
Like mentioned above, stop letting guests scavenge for anything they want :/ There is seriously very little render sites around, unlike back in 05 and 06, so this could easily be a high trafficked forum if people had a reason to register. And honestly, blocking stuff can't hurt this place? Pretty hurt as is
It's sad to see this site go to the dumps, years ago it was the hot spot of gfx communities. What are the new sites everyone goes to? I've been out of the loop for sometime.
I'm already here but I would appreciate people actually giving feed back on pieces people make, rather than only commenting on the spam, music etc sections of the forum. I've been here couple weeks and am already bored.
I agree, this forum is not what it used to be. I started college back in 07 and have been real busy with work and school. Making signatures was a fun hobby of mine and hopefully I can get back into it.
