When I just now recently returned to GR, I was f**king surprised about how much the activity has decreased, I mean back in 2005/2006, the forum was packed with hundreds of members and staff. All of the people I knew back in the day lefted the forum, what happened to the market where there used to be a bunch of shops where you could get sigs, and other stuff through credits?.. The thing is, back when Dave and LlamaMan were ran the forum, that was when GR was in its prime..
The prime of any gfx forum was several years ago. Things change and and so do the interests of people. Signature making and such isn't as popular as before. We are looking for other ways to bring back activity but I currently don't have time for it as I'm getting married this Friday and those things tend to take some preparing. Include the fact that I moved house about a month ago, you can understand I dont have much time these days ^^
I hear ya. Congrats on getting married! I think this site will become active close to how it was in 05-06 once again. The site still gets a shitload of guests everyday! Just gotta figure some routes to get those guests registered and active.
we need to find out what you guys & the guests would like to see on this place. we can take it beyond graphics if we must.
I'm still here. the issue is that we have certain negative members and they scared others away. Also idiocy in the staff. This idiocy included even my own actions when I was a moderator. that said, I am more than happy to welcome you back.
congrats man! I have noticed its not as popular as it used to be also, i wish we could bring all of those new interests in to this site as well, its just about finding out what that had gone to... damn modern warfare 2 and WOW
A few probably, although I have no idea when I'll get around to uploading them. Could be a few days after, could also be weeks after. Depends if I'm lazy or not
it better be weeks after! haha enjoy the pros to being married and upload your pics when you get around to it, i know it takes me a few days and as well weeks to upload pics i take and im no where near to being married!
It was boomin back then, but you see most people do Gfx as a hobby and obviously that hobby has died down alot. I think it had something to do with the hundreds of gfx sites that poped up during that time frame and beyond and just saturated the community and spread everyone out. Or most people grew up and gave up the artistic side of things like this
