HTML is really something you can learn WHILE learning CSS. Learning it out of context of CSS will only really slow you down.
i taught myself html. It is really simple to learn, Uhm you will need notepad(preferably notepad++) to do the coding. to view what your doing you will need a localhost. something like appserv will work. and then your set to start learning. i have a folder of html tutorials already. so i can help real fast.
