I couldn't tell you, both are good mice.

at the end of the day, I'd tell you to go with whatever is more comfortable in your hand.

FYI I have an MX518 and love it.

I've always heard that the deathadder was more precise. Generally speaking the Death Adder is a VERY solid mouse.

and unless something has changed, laser mice aren't as good as optical mice yet, the onlu field in which laser mice win would be DPI, but they lose everywhere else(lag, precision, etc.)

I have a DeathAdder. Had it for probably 3 or 4 years now. Bought it when it was first released, and it hasn't missed a beat. The rubber coating is a bit worn in some places, but it doesn't affect the functionality or comfort.

I'll take the Logitech one too, but I recently got a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse WAVE series, I don't think it's pro and I haven't installed it yet so I don't know how they are, anyone knows about the Logitech Wave series?

Also I'll perhaps buy this mouse and use it with my Logitech Keyboard that I got with WAVE.

Mouse is a mouse... I do have the side winder for design use and occasional gaming. I'm using the Apple Magic Pad right now due to wrist injury...it's working nicely aswell.

Once you buy a high end peripheral you'll understand why so many others do it, unless you're brain dead and can't handle their speed or precision. I prefer to keep it simple and simply keep re-purchasing a Deathadder every couple of years.

I tried the MX518, both of them broke in less than 6 months... wouldn't recommend it at all.
