    OK here's the deal:
i wanna start with a new and fresh site so i can make some nice small portfolio pages and advertise my work and maybe get something todo again since i stopped making logos and tshirt designs mid last year

i need a name that fits for following stuff:
    - design (logos, tshirts, banner, homepage design)
    - coding stuff (homepages, apps, games)

and it would be good if the name get along with some nice slogan :)

here are 2 names that i've already come up with:
    - codejo / where the mojo flows
    - artality / (???)
i also liked designity but thats already taken by a company

would be cool if i could get as much feedback as possible on the 2 names above but i'm also looking forward to some really nice suggestions ;)

    btw
here is some of my graphical work:

Buzzwords are gay. You want something memorable, not something clever.

Considering how low level your current work is, I wouldn't recommend trying to portray yourself as a company, but rather as an individual. Taking a [yournamehere] .com or .org would probably be the best bet. If you're trying to attract clientele, you should be trying to market you, rather than just your product.

Your design work for the most part is a bit short of terrible. I'd work on that before you invest in a website. :)

You an educated designer or a photoshop monkey?

ok thanks for your quick and "kind" replies
i know that i'm not the best artist/designer out there but its some site work from me that i do when i have some spare time

currently i'm working for a big company as an developer and creating apps/algorithms that are used by quite some people
that's also why i dropped the graphical work and concentrate on the tech side

so if you say that my posted work is rather bad i would kick it and concentrate the site around the following stuff:
    - creating websites (including cms and admin panels)
    - coding apps (mostly business tools, but also small apps)
    - coding games (smaller things like a who wants to be a millionaire)

things i'm good at (maybe that will help on a name^^):
    - website related: HTML, CSS, PHP, XML, MySQL, Javascript, Ajax
    - coding related: Java, VB, C, C#, C++

Just use your own name. Any clever, snappy name you think up now will be lame and dull later on. Your own name never changes, and no matter where you shift your focus to, it will still make sense.

There's far too many individuals on the web trying to over-market themselves.

since i dont plan to purchase a .de/.com domain in the future it wont be of much harm if i'll drop that name again ;)

I don't see a problem with G17.com. I myself think you should keep it simple. Don't overdue it with some complicated name because it sounds cool.

No doubt, for a personal portfolio site, go with your name as the domain address.
