The last time I posted my sigs on a forum on a regular basis everyone would say the same thing, that my sigs lacked depth. Any advice on how to improve this? I like to think I blend my stocks pretty well and I do about 30 layers on average per sig, so it's not like I do very little, even if it looks like it. Advice is appreciated!

Depth usually points to the separation of foreground to background, ways to make depth are using more then one color in your sigs, and just by looking at your signature now the one color does create that problem, where as if you had kept Eminem his original color it would have added a sense of depth because he would have been separate from his background.

    Hope this helps.

Here's some of my older stuff, I just got a new computer and have only done one design on it so far and it's kind of personal but here's some examples. Also the Eminem sig in my signature was a gift, I just never changed it.

I see what they mean by depth I believe they mean to say your render seems to be in the back not the main focus on sigs 2,4,and 5 I notice this. you seem to be putting brushes over the render to cover it or something. I cant give a lot of advice on working with stocks since i usually don't use stocks but when it comes to renders try to not add your render first. work on your background before adding it and then blend it into the background also a great way to fix depth is to sharpen your focal and then lightly blur the background to make it clear where your eyes should focus.

Im not sure if this is any help to you but best of luck :D

It does help, I actually thought it was the other way around. The reason you see brushes over my stocks is because I wanted to add depth so obviously somewhere I got confused. I also do sharpen and blur my work, that's all old stuff, so I can say which I did if any. Thanks.
