Don't go to Full Sail. I graduated from there. Had to get most of my education on my own, the teachers were my age, and I had more field experience than most of them out of high school. A lot of the instructors are Full Sail grads that didn't make it in their field. I haven't checked out the online degree yet, but i don't imagine it's any better.

I'd recommend D-School, SCAD/The Art Institutes, or Creative Circus.

I'll get on ur sig in a sec.

The tour is a big scam. They show you HUGE classrooms with top of the line tech... but as a student, you'll never see em. Never had a class in one because they were always being shown to the people on tour. I had 2 classes in a broom closet.

Also, transferring credits is impossible. I tried to get back into school because employers were laughing at my "semi-accredited" degree from a school with a bad rep in the professional market. I almost went back to school, starting my education back in square 1 with 0 credit hours, but decided to take a chance and build my career from the ground up on my own with no help from Full Sail's useless career development team. (who will only try to get you a job in orlando)

Last but not least... outside of Disney's security bubble, Orlando is a ghetto neighborhood. Walking around school with your bright orange student badge and orange car sticker will you get robbed. 4 out of the 5 people in my class had their computers and/or bikes stolen. I personally was held up at gun point twice and lost my wallet, bike, iPod, and more. Also, getting to school's a challenge when people are crow-baring open your gas cap and siphoning all your gas.

My class started with 30 and got down to just me because everyone else was smart enough to jump ship. 5 of us graduated. 1 person is a photographer in an auction house, 2 work in fast food, 1 is back at full sail getting a different degree, and I have a successful career with a major company. So 2 of us managed to do anything out of the 30 in the original graduating class. Their 80%+ job placement rate is a load of BS. And so are their crime stats they give you.
