Very impressive! Any chance you could post the c4d's you used? IMO the text could have been better, but it is a very nice tag overal!
yeah I can post the PSD up here. I actually made this for a gaming clan SOTM contest and I usually suck at abstract sigs, but I guess I had a change of fortune with this one here is the PSD link http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E2Z0MM62
its practically the same as the border in your sig. And if u look at what I posted and are distracted by a white rectangle around the outside then you have depth of field issues.
concept C&C All boarders are distracting includeing the one tk has... They are solid colors that pull your eyes away from the art. Boarders are pointless, if you have to add a boarder you might as well just make your signature small so i don't have to look at the annoying color you decided to place on the edging of you signature. It's irritating and stupid unless you using it to advertise because it will jolt your eye over to it. Now on a signature it's not the case it's just an annoyance that distracts me from enjoying the work you placed inside of it. A Little More Indepth Bad. Horrible text placement and it's very straining on the eyes. Your lightsource is much to bright, just like the middle signature I have we over did it, a lighting thats ambient is much better, with a slight hint of the direction it's coming from but not a pure brightness. To much blurring, blurring is a good idea to add depth but it's just over kill, your background is litterally a blur and thats besides the little bit thats closer to the C4D on the left. Good. I do applaud your coloring though, even though most of that was the C4D you plastered onto one another. You did a good job bringing it out and making it look better. Don't be discouraged, just take what I'm saying into thought, you have great potential and it's all shown in this signature. You just need to learn a few things. Ease up on your effects you place (aka your lighting and blurs) Don't always go to such an extreme. Hope my C&C helps
great post concept, I really appreciate it. I will definitely try to work on the things you mentioned. Also I should just point out I did use the "topaz" filter a little bit on this, you might be familiar with it. Thanks again
Im just saying its kinda distracting... Damn no need to get mad at me. And Ik mines o.o Never said it wasnt.
I'm not mad at anyone if your talking to me anyway and anytime I can say something to help I like helping people improve it's great to see what people can do
btw I thought you used topaz'n but I'm not much of a fan of it. The majority of my signatures are made using brushes, erasers, stocks, and renders. Once in awhile I'll toss a curve in to maybe fix my brushing "A.K.A. my highlights and shadows" and a few filters here and there when I feel like it.
