It shouldnt hurt when they're drilling, they just give you meds so if they hit a nerve you don't feel it.

 

had a filling and they had to go to my roots...too much chocolate
dont touch the stuff anymore....thinking about it it probally would have been better to pull the tooth than doing the filling

Fillings are not that bad. In fact in like the dentist world is like the most painless operation besides cleaning.
