i haven't tried CS5 at all, i'm pretty content with CS3 Extended. are all those new 3D features good? how's it look?
Haven't tinkered with the 3D stuff yet, but it has the nice interace of CS4, and the content-aware fill is amazing.
some amazing features, too bad my current comp won't run it have it on my laptop for doing file layouts n stuff
personally i wasn't that impressed by 4, but when live stream that showed the cs5 functions during it's release came up, I was just blown away.
I found CS4 to be a noticeable improvement over CS3. I've been using Photoshop CS5 for the last couple of days and I think it's again, a really good improvement.
unless you're running a company that depends on these programs it's basically not affordable, but try the free trials anyway, downlaod at adobe website
does CS5 have that fancy resizing program, where it crops out little lines of the image? it let you resize and it didnt distort it. i thought it was going to be revolutionary. or was that some other program?
For making sigs... 7.0 is wonderful. For professional use, CS5 does an AMAZING job integrating the creative suite with communications software (at least in a cooperate environment) and the work flow is MUCH smoother when handling large jobs. Also, automation has come a LOOOOONG way, and the drawing tools in illustrator are the best i've seen. The perspective tool opens the door to a lot of things. Still on a trial right now on PC...but we'll see how the full version hold up on a Mac...if it ever gets here
If you look at CS5 and take a look on CS4 there's allmost nothing changed. Only bugs fixed and some things are not easy to find
