    did you just use different brushes to get that textured bg? im not real good with photoshop yet so if you wanna give me a tip as to how you got that look i would really like that

    Has to do with the focal point, there's no brushes in it.

    I just used the render to do the bg.
    I set the focal of the render and from there used it to smudge it, blur it, sharpen, it's up to you.

    There's lots of tuts in here that are explaining exactly what i'm trying to say :P
    (ye cause i just started at photoshop so technical details aren't my strong point) ;D

    I tried both ways, darker and bright, believe me when i say you wouldn't want to see it brighter ;)
