Call of Duty /Vietnam/ Black ops So with all the rumours of this being the new setting what inspiration do you think they'll take from movies, they've took a few before like below. Call of duty 4: Zakhaevs son and the guy that chases Owen Wilson in Behind enemy lines. Call of duty 5: The sniping part hiding in the fountain on Enemy at the gates is like the Russian part when your hiding in in the fountain and snipe the guys. Call of Duty 6: The bathroom scene in the rock similar to the bathroom part when your trying to bust Captain Price out What inspiration do you think Treyarch will look at for Vietnam? I'm guessing we're going to have a Platoon styled moment with a guy chasing back to the chopper being chased by the Vietnamese or with the Iranian embassy maybe making it's way into the game, Possibly a scene from Who dares wins.
I noticed the showers in MW2 "The Gulag" look just like the showers in The Rock as well, but who says they got inspired by the movie and not Alcatraz itself? If you look hard enough, every scene in every game has some sort of similarity with some movie out there.
I agree with that, such as the Fountain scenes in WaW. Also the flares bit in MW2 reminded me of the flare part in the rock also. It's just going to be interesting which movie they base alot of stuff around.
Vietnam at first but now its supposed to be a mix of Vietnam/Iranian embassy siege in England with the sas/Cold war and others i think

I actually heard there will be another game involving Ghost, even though he was killed by Shepard (think thats spelt wrong), because a large majority of the players said Ghost was there favorite player, so they might make a game involving hi. I think it might involve his comic book series, although I haven't read any comic books in my life, I just know they have one.
A WWI warfare game wouldn't be hard to do. It would just be a lot more plot, and less shooting considering the only action you had in WWI was when you went over the top, and tried to overtake the enemy trench. A crusades game would be pretty sweet too, but an enlightenment age game, muskets and such, wouldn't be very good. All you'd do is stand in the line, and shoot at other people standing in a line.
trayarch's going to ruin it with tanks. i love how WaW was ruined with vehicles, but BC2 is perfect with them
