I'm actually surprised with all the positive comments about the Pacific in this thread. I've seen Band Of Brothers and this series doesn't even come close at all! I know it's still early but all the episodes I've seen so far have just been character building outside of the war. I'm still watching it and I'm really hoping it gets better but so far it pales in comparison to Band Of Brothers in my opinion.
My exact feelings Band of brothers is far superior to this series There was a battle once a episode This seems to be facing the illnesses the drama and the racism of the war. Maybe that's because that's how the Pacific war was, Sit around waiting for the Japanese to attack. but yeah i agree it pales in comparism to Band of Brothers.
Different type of series but yeah, band of brothers had alot more action but still, i like Pacific, gives another "face" of the war and how even when not battling, a man can go mad. PS: Btw @1st post, 14 parts mini serie
