So 40 bucks less is all they can do?

I'd rather just buy from newegg or an electronics store. Don't know that place so lots of trust and oem issues.

Is AMAZON.com better than NEWEGG.com? In terms of cheapest prices in the US that is. Also, how many months does it take for a free shipment to reach you in the US?

generally newegg, but it varies. Comparison shopping wins.

speaking from newegg... 1-4 DAYS for free shipments from the moment you hit order.

Core i5 or i7 is best, i5 is cheaper and for most sues just as good.
best cards right now are basically
5970, 5870, 5850, 5770, 5750, and 5670. Nothing else is really worth considering at this point if you intend to game.

and isn't it a fact that ATI cards were considered to SUCK because they didn't have the Physx and that made a lot of games look bad? =]

What if I have an 8800 GT and I install an ATI Graphic card? What motherboard should I go for? Asus Rampage II?

Can I take the PHYSX from the 8800 GT? Like only use it as a dedicated PHSYX engine?
