    Isn't it Adobe Premier?

At least that's what it seems like.

The only other option would be Sony Vegas

I've seen good results from Vegas and Premier.

I downloaded Vegas in the past and found that it confused me, however I don't have any previous experience with Video Editing and was just trying to teach myself (bad idea).

Adobe Premier would be your best out if your deep into editing(in my opinion) along with using Adobe After Effects if your running it on pc. However if your using a mac then you should use final cut ---. Also for some tips on editing/effects you can go here video copilot, its one of the best video tuts on the web.

Yeah, Adobe After Affects is really handy when it comes to these stuff. Made a couple for my projects for school. It's easy to use and it's very efficient.
