Sherlock Homes was great no doubt about it but Spy Next Door is meh! I don't think I'd watch that film, it's a bit too childish for me.

Sherlock Holmes was a great action flick, but it was horrible if you compare it to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's version of the detective.

So nice to watch in general, but not if you want to learn more about the actual Holmes :p

Well after watching this particular film my interest in his character sparked and now I'm willing to discover more about him and I'm not afraid to say that I'm kind of obsessed with his abilities and his awesome and that I want to be just like him.. He's so wonderful!

The sequel to that movie was dreadful. Avoid it like the plague.

My favorite of 2009: Personally I think this was a dreadful 365 days in film, or rather what was released, but the following films caught my attention, kept it, and still hold it.

    • Moon
    • District 9
    • (500) Days of Summer
    • Fantastic Mr. Fox
    • Inglourious Basterds
    • Up
    • Sherlock Holmes
    • Zombieland
    • Where The Wild Things Are
Films of 2010: This year looks to be a good year with Inception, Tron Legacy, Green Zone, Iron Man 2, Robin Hood, Hot Tub Time Machine, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Salt, Kick-Ass, Toy Story 3, and I'm sure a share of some lovely independent films. That being said, only a few films so far within the year are interesting enough, and good enough to merit a watch, if not two. Please have the the sense of mind to acknowledge that these are by no means my favorite of the year, so far or what have you, just ones that I've seen (I try to attend the theater once a week) that are worth watching.

    • Shutter Island
    • The Book of Eli
    • Daybreakers
    • The Ghost Writer
