Been a while since I posted on GameRenders. What can I say lots going on. Anyhow, I'm ready to build yet another machine for myself. Here is what I have: $1000 - $1200 USD (I haven't decided which of the two but definetly around 1100 USD to build a new Computer) GeForce 8800 Ultra, GT 280 ... ready to go 2Way SLI (8800 from old Computer and GT 280 from fry's I know I hate em too ... <_<) Here is what I need: Motherboard (support the two cards and a fast processor) Processor (dual core 2 or higher please, Quad or i7 quad would be awesome!) Cooling System (fans, kits, liquid, etc...whatever you think is best and easiest) Power Supply (your choice, depends mostly how much money is left) RAM (4GB or 6GB or 8GB...I'm only saying since I already have the most important part the Graphics Cards, and they are the costliest ones here so a little extra on RAM shouldn't be hard) Hard Drive (big or fast ...either is fine) DVD Drive (well just a DVD Writer will do fine I barely use it mostly just my external HD) Computer Case (full tower or midsize tower (good looking one) would do fine) LCD Monitor (something of a decent size, 17" or higher...say 20 or 22 inches if possible would be nice) Keyboard / Mouse (not really a big fan of keyboard and mice, so they can be as cheap as possible) I don't think I'm forgetting anything, if I'm then do tell me or add it to the list. One last thing...I know this is going to sound stupid and crazy but It would be awesome if all of the parts above came from NEWEGG, mostly because I buy a lot of ---- from them and kind of love their shipping and stuff .. Also, I would like a good resolution on the Monitor, no 1280x600 crap, something big like 1600x1200 or 1920x1200 or if possible 2560x1600 Looking forward to it, Thanks, Z.
This is probably about $1250 after everything, which I know is a little more that you wanted to spend. Those last 5 items, won't effect the build too much, so you can change them and choose what you want to reduce price if needed. And change them based on personal preference of how the case/monitor look, etc. Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813188049 CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115202 Cooling: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835103055 PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817153104 RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820145260 Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16822152185 DVD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16827118030 Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16811119137 Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16824236052 Keyboard/Mouse: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16823109156
First of all I hate iMacs actually everything that has iApple written all over it. I had a Mac long time ago and it f-ed up so yah.. K4D that is actually a pretty decent setup, I might add some more money to get 6 or more gigs of ram but that might just be it oh and a better looking case xD Thanks Prince.
Yeah I kinda just picked the first case I saw to figure about what it would cost since it doesn't really matter
