Looking for recommendations, feel like expanding my library. Any and all punk is welcome. Some of the music I listen to: NOFX By far my favorite band. To sum them up: good music played by a bunch of alcoholic drug addicts. Some of their better albums (in my opinion), for those who are interested: - The Decline (EP) - Pump Up the Valuum - The War on Errorism - Wolves in Wolves' Clothing - Coaster - White Trash, Two Heebs, and a Bean - Punk in Drublic Bad Religion A close second. Good music, very political, very well-written lyrics. Some albums: - The Empire Strikes First - By far the best thing they've put out, both in terms of lyrics and production - New Maps of Hell - Suffer - Stranger Than Fiction - No Control Anti-Flag Loud, fast, heavily-political music. Some of their better albums: - The People or the Gun - A very good album, shows how far the band has come - A New Kind of Army - Die for the Government - For Blood and Empire Authority Zero Punk mixed with Hispanic influences. Pretty good. Albums: - Andiamo - A Passage in Time Dropkick Murphys Americans riding their Irish roots a little too hard, but a good kind of different. Albums: - The Meanest of Times - Blackout Frenzal Rhomb An Australian band I'd never heard of before I heard them on Pandora. Surprisingly good. Albums: - Meet the Family - Sans Souci - Forever Malcom Young Good Riddance Haven't listened to a whole lot of them, but the album I have is pretty good. Albums: - Bound By Ties of Blood and Affection Gob Canadians. Eh. Albums: - Foot in Mouth Disease - Muertos Vivios Pennywise I'm not fond of everything they've put out, but different strokes for different folks. Albums: - Land of the Free? - From the Ashes Propaghandi Hippie-liberal Canadian vegans. Albums: - How to Clean Everything - Supporting Caste - Very well done Rise Against Pretty mainstream in comparison, but their later albums are very good. Tim is an amazing songwriter. Albums: - The Sufferer and the Witness - Appeal to Reason - Revolutions Per Minute - Siren Song of the Counter Culture AFI Their early stuff is more of my preference, but some people like the suicide-girls emo-goth mask they've assumed as of late. Albums: - AFI - Very Proud of Ya Against Me! It's hard for me to get into most of their stuff, but they occasionally put out something good (in my opinion - your mileage may vary). Albums: Searching for a Former Clarity Descendents Old guys with glasses. Albums: - Everything Sucks - Cool to be You - Milo Goes to College I find it hard to get into the early 80s punk - Black Flag, Adolescents, Misfits, etc. - but occasionally listen to a few bands from then here and there. Anyhow, post your suggestions, reviews, etc. Like I said, I'm open.

If you haven't heard of this band then you really need to listen to more punk. - ...And Out Come The Wolves Not Available Melodic Punk rock band from Germany with a lot of mixed genres. - 5 Aces - Burp! The Queers Beach Boys meets The Ramones Punk. - Love Songs For The Retarded - Don't Back Down - Summer Hits, No. 1 Swingin' Utters Irishy Folk/Skateboard Punk. - Five Lessons Learned The Bouncing Souls Punk music you can sing-a-long to. - 20th Anniversary Series 3 Feet Smaller Emo-ish punk rock band from Austria. INCREDIBLE songs to listen to while snowboarding/skateboarding. - 3rd Strike - Damn, We Need A Title For This Record Daggermouth Melodic hardcore party punk. - Turf Wars - Stallone
I've listened to Rancid. ...And Out Come the Wolves occasionally pops up in my playlists, depending on the mood. As for The Queers, I actually own Love Songs for the Retarded. I liked it, but never looked into more of their stuff. I'll have to look into the others. I've heard a few Bouncing Souls songs, but never really looked into them. A buddy of mine has a few Swingin' Utters albums, might borrow one or two. Thanks, man.
how about some Braid, Joshua Fit For Battle, Swing Kids, Ampere, Amanda Woodward, Loma Prieta, Des Ark, Louise Cyphre, Army of Kashyyyk, Sed Non Satiata. Good fucking hardcore punk bands.

A Wilhelm Scream (somewhere between melodic hardcore and punk rock, great energy, fantastic music) -Ruiner -Mute Print -Career Suicide Strike Anywhere (same category as a wilhelm scream, slightly more towards punk) -Exit English -To Live in Discontent Strung Out -Live in a Dive (you don't need the 10+ albums, just this one really) This Is A Standoff (fast, melodic, funny, awesome) -Be Excited -Be Disappointed The Killing Tree (older side project from rise against singer Tim McIrath, a lot harder and less polished than rise against) -The Romance of Helen Trent Against Me! -Reinventing Axl Rose (best album they ever made by far, this is what against me was all about before they sold out and started releasing the crap they play today)
