I'm looking at picking up a new laptop and I was wondering if anyone has some good suggestions. I'm feeling a 17" screen, with at least 4GB of memory but i'm open to anything, I know abit about computer hardware but not a ton thats why i'm looking for advice. Theres just too much out there to choose from now lol
Do you plan to use this in school? If so; 17" is far too big and you'll hate yourself for it. You will. Trust me.
I know what you mean my current one is a 17" and it sucks ass for tight spots like airplanes and the little desks at uni but I don't use it for that I got a little acer for that stuff (although so far I've preferred taking notes on paper) I'm looking for something decently powerful pretty much a mobile desktop of sorts, I've thought about something smaller I actually found a couple nice 14.1s that I really liked but I just can't get over the 17" screen especially when I'm web designing, but like I said before i'm open to anything so I may be swayed away from the 17" you never know lol

The easiest solution (for school) is to get an HP Mini 311 to do classwork on, and get the 17 incher for home/dorm. I'd imagine he has something more complex than just school work in mind for a 17inch with at least 4GBs of ram. I'll look up some once I get back.
Well I'm most likely gonna by something in the next 2 days so any last minute suggestions or suggestions period would be helpful lol
