Seriously.. four pages and not a single mention of George Carlin? I know he just passed away, but are people already forgetting him? lol. Dane Cook is creepy, and sometimes a bit retarded but I've watched most of his live shows. The one where he chases down the retarded boy - CREEPY. Eddie Izzard's 'Dress to Kill' was an HBO special. He has six other live tapings, but that is the one that will be gurantee to hook you onto his comedy. He covers everything from Scooby Doo, Imperialism, WWII, and religion. His bit on flags, cake or death, and the opening clip of Dress to Kill will have you dying. My list would be: George Carlin Eddie Izzard Robin Williams Katt Williams [especially his bit about Michael Jackson and his theme park.] Ron White [though he doesn't have a lot of fresh material, the little bit he has is funny]
Robbin Williams will always be a classic. Been getting right into the black comedians lately, dunno why but black people are funny haha
the obvious bests are carlin and jim gaffigan! wathc gaffigan's entire beyond the pale show on youtube. its hilarious
Jim really isn't that funny, but I guess that is just personal taste. George Carlin Bill Hicks [Why isn't he mentioned more?] Lewis Black Patton Oswalt Jon Lajoie Richard Pryor Robbin Williams Daniel Tosh
Mine would be Bill Hicks, Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran. Oh and this dude, Lavelle Crawford. I laughed so hard at this: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/WPIgs-90vuc"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/WPIgs-90vuc" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
