I'm seriously considering on buying one. Isn't this one of the best Gaming/Entertainment laptops available so far?

    18.4" screen rofl.

That's just stupid. Not cool or funny stupid. Just plain stupid.

Laptops with 17" screens are a good idea conceptually, but bad.

This thing is just a monster. Might as well be a desktop.

    $1,899.99

You can put together a PC that has better specs for less money tbh.

Dell XPS > Alienware (Same parts, significantly lower price). Actually anything other than HP is really not going to be a significant difference. Dells and HPs have the most issues with compatibility, reformatting and such.

Or you can check out Logical's company - digitalstormonline.com - they generally have special deals going on laptops.

Yeah, cos the only difference between a laptop and a desktop is price and performance, right? Cos you can just pick up that desktop, throw it in your backpack, head off to a mates place, plug it into the wall with a single plug, connect to your mates wireless and start Lanning or sharing files. Then when you wanna head out you can just pack it up in 5 seconds and walk home.

If all you care about is price/performance you should stop trying to give PC advice.
