Must have not been big news on the early morning show... Doesn't really make that much sense to me though...Yes they made alot of cash by doing it but they were making alot of cash by owning the characters. I guess they just wanted quick cash instead of waiting to earn it...
I am a huge Marvel fan and I don't see a problem with it. At this point Stan Lee is a figurehead so why not just cashout and live the good life? Disney actaully has their hand in a lot of mature enterprises and leaves them alone creatively; such as the MTV networks. That is if anyone would dare to accuse them of being creative...
I'm confused. Why would they buy Marvel? I thought Disney focused on content for children and stuff. (Content that doesn't involve very much violence anyways)
These days Disney is like any other Media Conglomerate. If it makes money, they'll take it. That said, they certainly aren't a company that stifles the creative process, but rather just exploits it.
I think a lot of people would be surprised that Disney owns a large portion of the adult media, they just don't slap their name all over it and make it well known.

Learn to type correctly. Make an effort to communicate clearly. Yes, we know, this isn't english class (with your added lolz after it), this is interacting with real people and if you present yourself as an idiot you will be treated as one. They won't, it was discussed earlier in the thread.
I honestly think this is bad. Disney has a habit of making things for little kids, some of the Marvel characters are pretty screwed up. Hope they dont wussify them for some 8 year olds.
That's what I'm thinking, too. However, I doubt that Disney is going to change very much of Marvel; they will probably just let Marvel run as they normally do.
disney won't mess with the marvel content...they can't make pg movies it just won't sell... but then again...look at the transformers....so maybe they could totally f it up
