I just got photoshop cs4 and am learning thanks to this site and community.. atm i've made three signatures after 3 days.. not much in 'em but im still learning.. 1-2 hours after getting photoshop: 1 day after getting photoshop: 3 days after getting photoshop: let me kno wat ya's think and wat u can recommend for me =)
ohh yea and if u can't tell already.. im a CoD4 and MW2 (in 7 days) player so my sigs are based around CoD mostly because of the community im on for competitive ps3 gaming...

Well, the first thing you need to learn is how 2 blend. Take a look at our tutorial page, then post up another tag. I would say more but there's a lot you have to learn. Only reason I'm saying that is, is because what I'd be saying to you would be a written tutorial basically and usually it's easier to learn with pictures along with the commentary.
well its looking really good for your first work on photoshop, and it looks as though you will become a good learner, keeping making them, and following tutorials, and you will be good in no time.

ight k3vn I'll help you out a little bit here. Here's 3 things you need to start your self on. Atmosphere - ( The surrounding feeling of your tags ) - If you take a look at your tags, you'll notice the coloring in your backgrounds, there very solid colors that have no blending with them, so they stand out and make things in your signature seem like you just took them from somewhere else and placed them into a canvas and just left it. - So what you need to start doing is making a background that helps the renders and objects you put into the tag feel like there apart of the signature, not some foriegn object that just got tossed in. - Another tip as well, this for your use of text. Your signatures are a form of art remember that. So you want mainly your effects and style to speak for it self with just small title on it occasionally, even if you wanna use text to show what you want, it takes away from the work you put into it. Text is a make or break thing with signatures and is usually best to completely leave out or have very little of. Also unless your doing a typograph signature usually using the text as the center of focus doesn't make much sense. Focal Point - ( Area in your signature that is most focused on. ) - Start creating a center of attention in your sigatures, if you take a look at my signatures you could get the grasp of what im saying. Even though in your most recent signature, in a sense, the modern warfare 2 text is the center of attention, it has no flow with the signature, it's a text with a background that doesn't have much to it. Smudging - ( Very useful and common effect ) - This is a very good beginner effect, and later on useful effect. - There is a tool on your tool bar that on default says blur tool and it looks like a tear drop, scroll over it and let the drop menu come out, there's another tool in there that when you scroll over it says smudge tool, select it once you do that go to the brush settings and mess around with them alot, then take an image and "brush" over it with the smudge tool, however you set the settings or the brush tip that you use will effect the style of the smudge. - This will take some time to get used to or get a good effect off of it, but it's a really good tool to start using, I use it in every signature I have still. - If you have any ? about it send me a message and I'll get more in depth with it and give you a few settings I like to use.
