Hey, you guys. I'm having problems trying to shade in hair. I drew an outline of hair in anime style and I tried to shade it in, but it's not turning out well at all. I get really bad results when I use the brush tool... So can someone steer me in the right direction? I'm clueless when it comes to shading and I don't want to try filling in the hair pixel by pixel.
Are you using a mouse or a Wacom? If you're using a mouse, try using the pen-tool instead, as you'll get more natural lines than trying to shakily shade with a mouse.
