Okay, I've tried a number of converters and even a ----- video editing program (which is not illegally owned by the way) and no matter what. The video and audio will only be synchronized until maybe 45 minutes to an hour into the video. What the hell is happening? I feel like the video converters have a grudge against me.

I've tried Any Video Converter, Total Video Converter, Sony Vegas 8 rendering. They all suffer the same problem of rendering the audio out of sync with the video after a certain amount of time.

Is there a converter that doesn't have this problem?

    Try using COWON media center.

When you install it, just go to jetToys and it has two video converters. One for doing any format and one for converting to .avi

Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

And really, it might just be the fact that the original file is poorly encoded for some reason.

You could always fix it in a video editing program, by shifting the audio to it's correct position.

If you've tried that many of them, it's probably not the converters' fault. Try closing other programs while the video is being converted and just leaving your computer alone.

it could be that the original file is screwed up. What format is the video anyway? and what format are you trying to convert it to?
