    My first space scene:

Everything in the sig is made from scratch (save a script used to start the planet shape and base colour and a brush used to make "space dust") Hopefully this lives up to first time expectations of you spacers.

    critique is welcome.
    i'm definitely new at this.

Scratch is good, only things i see off are how the border is not solid so you can see the planets under it.
and the blue planet is very LQ and blurry or the texture on it is.
Maybe makes the space dust blue or something to match the blue planet. would look way better with no border though.

love GIMP default tags. Anyways few things. Make the stars look a little more real, some are brighter than others, run them down with a soft brush on a low opacity erase tool, you'll get what you want there. As I said with another tag, remove the text and border. The other thing I would recommend is sharpen. It will look a lot better that way. The yellow thing behind the blue planet is weird and I don't know what it is, but overall it's a solid tag.

Pretty cool signature. Can't give any good advice, because im a "newb" at photoshop and such, except: keep on trying new stuff, mess around, find new things. That's what i do and i keep on finding new stuff everytime i do so. :D
