I like the first version better. only thing i dislike are the scan lines on his back and the text and border... other than that gj
I like everything, and prefer the first one, I think the scan lines are really really well placed. The text is a common technique, but this signature get's away with using it. You have used a good colour range in this tag, and have thought carefully about your render placement. I like the result's that you have come up with. I think if you want to perfect this signature piece, then you should get rid of the white boarder, the grunge and dark effect that you are trying to capture slowly vanishes, because of it.
One of the best Venom sigs i've seen so far. I just don't like the text "incorporated" into the character, as for the scanlines and the rest pretty well done.
