<div align="center"> Trailer The director of the first two Terminator movies and Titanic has come out of hiding to bring us a film that has the CGI community abuzz with talk. The quasi-realistic animations astound even the harshest critics. I for one, cannot wait for this movie. Plot (Source Article): The story’s protagonist, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), is a former Marine who was wounded and paralyzed from the waist down in combat on Earth. Jake is selected to participate in the Avatar program, which will enable him to walk. Jake travels to Pandora, a lush jungle-covered extraterrestrial moon filled with incredible life forms, some beautiful, many terrifying. Pandora is also home to the Na’vi, a sentient humanoid race that humans consider primitive, and are actually more evolutionarily advanced than humans. Standing three meters tall, with tails and sparkling blue skin, the Na’vi live in harmony with their unspoiled world. As humans encroach deeper into Pandora's forests in search of valuable minerals, the Na’vi unleash their formidable warrior abilities to defend their threatened existence. Jake has unwittingly been recruited to become part of this encroachment. Since humans are unable to breathe the air on Pandora, they have created genetically-bred human-Na’vi hybrids known as Avatars. The Avatars are living, breathing bodies that are controlled by a human "driver" through a technology that links the driver's mind to their Avatar body. On Pandora, through his Avatar body, Jake can be whole once again. Sent deep into Pandora's jungles as a scout for the soldiers that will follow, Jake encounters many of Pandora's beauties and dangers. There he meets a young Na’vi female, Neytiri, whose beauty is only matched by her ferocity in battle. Over time, Jake integrates himself into Neytiri's clan, and begins to fall in love with her. As a result, Jake finds himself caught between the military-industrial forces of Earth, and the Na’vi, forcing him to choose sides in an epic battle that will decide the fate of an entire world. </div>
Never heard about this movie before. But the plot does make up for a good movie, and I still love the movie ''The Titanic'' so yeah I think I'm going to watch this one.
I haven't watched Titanic in forever. I need to watch it again, such an epic movie. This one, I think, will blow it out of the water.
What i had said was that i think Avatar : the last airbender (based on the avatar cartoon on nickelodeon) will be better than this movie called just 'avatar'.
Their both actually named Avatar, this one and the live action adaptation of the nickelodeon series (movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan.) I'm looking forward to both of these, that's for sure.
Actually it's "The Last Airbender" or "Avatar: The Last Airbender" the adaptation on the Nick series isn't called "Avatar" on it's own. And like mentioned, V, the "lame anime" isn't actually an anime, it's live action.
Just bothered to read up on the movie properly.. now I'm eagerly awaiting it's arrival.. I think it will be a truely awesome movie. Awesome director Good cast Unbelieveable graphics Seems to have a good mix of intense battle scenes, those large 'army vs army' scenes we all love, and a bit romance. Hopefully something both guys n gals can enjoy Still can't get over some of the level of detail in the trailers, and that's WITHOUT the 3d glasses on! Gonna be epic. Edit: Read the rest of the topic, if you looked at the first post..and still thought it was about airbender..you're an idiot.
The trailer was awesome! I guess I'll watch it when it comes out if I get positive feedback about it.
