I am offering credits to whoever can help me.

I need to take a picture taken with a digital camera or off the web.

Resize it to 1 inch x 1 inch

and have it print at a high quality. I am reading that the DPI and the resolution should be changed. That is the part I am stuck on. I am using photoshop to do this.

    for instance my steps are.

    Open photo
click crop and I crop it to what I want to be left.
    change to 1 inch x 1 inch
I leave the following 3 checked.

    Scale styles
    constrain proportions
resample image and select bicubic sharper (best for reduction)

Does anyone see any errors or crucial missing steps in performing this?

Also what would be the easiest way to put say 48 different 1 inch x 1 inch pictures on one sheet to print? I will be using a pretty decent photo printer and using photo paper. I will definitely pay someone in credits for their time for helping me. thank you in advance

I think you are trying way too hard. Open the image in Photoshop, copy the part you want. Create a new image and on the New File dialog box, set the dimensions to 1 inch X 1 inch. Then paste your selection from the original picture and resize it to fit your canvas. There, 1 pic, no weird settings, it will print just fine.
