Ok so i am currently thinking about starting to train my dog.
Rouge Ninja is not leashed trained yet. so my question is
    How do you train them?
And how do you teach them to roll over XD

if you guys are wondering.. this is my first puppy in a long time. My other dog is 15 years old. and we got her from the pound.. Plus i was only 1 when we got her.

I train Horses not dogs. So how do i do that?

We taught our dog how to roll onto his back. It involves a piece of cheese. :)

Work with a "click"-system and treats, plenty of treats.

Like to have them sit down, you'll first have to pretty much force them by pushing their bottom down. And when he/she does, give a treat.
Food is main deal for 'em all really. Lure them into whatever it is you want by flashing food before them (easy way to get them to lay down really)
and after a while, they'll know what you expect

Do remember to clearly state the command each time you're doing it though (like sit, down, heel, ...)

Training only has one n in it, and Rogue has the u after the g, not before it.

If your dog is well behaved, I wouldn't bother training it. Unless it's a particularly intelligent breed, you're wasting your time.

    There's two ways to this.

Easy way: Hit it when it does bad things and use stern voice. Much quicker than offering treats. (May get a visit from RSPCA, or end up with an attack dog.. if it's option B, then good on you)

Hard way: Offer it incentives for doing good things, however unless you ween it off treat rewards in the beginning or don't use them all together.. you'll find your dog being a whinger when it doesn't get a treat after every good deed. (My dogs just sit/drop then roll over everytime I touch food now, it's annoying as ----)

Stab it in the neck and call it a mangy mutt. It'll learn to respect you.

Apparently sitting on a dog for a long period of time helps assert your position as master.

I also train with my dog .

But rolling over isn't a thing i would learn lol.

if you give him a comand then always say hes name first .

If he is under 5 months then don't put to much pressure on the dog .

after that . give him a comand , if he doenst listen then count to 3 and help him .

If the dog runs away when training or when you go for a walk then don't run after him lol. He think you wants to play .

Always call the name and run away from him . Even if he comes to you after 30 minutes then don't hit him or be angry . If you do then why would he come back the next time ?

Any questions let me know .

    Dr!ver.

    here is my dog .
