I feel like she doesn't flow with everything. Perhaps it's how red her hair is. Just tell me what you think.
It kinda has a flow from right to left, but again I believe it is too simple with just brushes. You can kinda see a star BG but it's seems to be covered or at a low opacity. You should try working with C4d's or smudging to get a more complex look.
To be honest, it just looks like something you would throw together in 5 minutes. Just far too simple methinks.
Yea, use c4ds and smudge in the direction you want to set the flow. You can use lines with a clipping mask as well or the pen tool thingie there. There are so much options. Use some gradients as well, it is good to fit the colors together so that the bg has something in common with the render itself. ^.^
