My high school class was a joke. Our teacher was the tennis coach and just told the 20 of us to go into the computer lab and work on computers. All we did was play Counterstrike every day. I got a B in the class, but it was still awesome.
my school sucks balls all of our computer classes are a joke............. web design: learn basic html...heres dreamweaver make nine of the exact same website I can't even think of what the other two classes were but i didn't learn anything..one was on photoshop and Imovie lawls we haven't had a computer science class in like six years it ended while i was in middle school...they decided not to take it off the class list for years only to dissapoint me further in high school.......D: and TO TOP IT OFF they added some small comp science class for kids........ or how about my school put up flyers for an IT camp/class over the coruse of a few weeks...when i got excited and looked at it again the next day realized it was two or so ------ing months over the deadline(and why didn't i notice it earlier? there are usually stupid motivational flyers or ffa meeting type of posters there...)they also used to mention stuff like that on announcements...nope not this time no matter how big of a joke your classes were i wish i could have taken them....I would have atleast learned something lol.... and had a tad bit more fun even if all we did was screw around it's not the same lol we got our first computer that wasn't made in the 1990s or previously owned by a family member in 2005 i played diablo on it for two years never doing anything more...and blah blah since then upgraded it a little but that is all.... no real opportunities to play around... and a lack of strive to really look more into things oh and ii'm a procrastinator...and an idiot lol sorry for bump but I was going to make a very similar thread..and ask for some recommendations on books that could give me some insight before the end of high school and my future college endeavours there are so many books out their for security..networking...and IT stuff.... so if anyone knows some good introductory books I would really appreciate you posting here or pming me thanks ~sorry for the bitching there are worse schools but hey bitching is what i do best
