So far, since joining the site, I have the two done in my sig right now, and these two:

I just downloaded some awesome new brushes for GIMP and have been experimenting around...I also added some blurs, but put them towards the bottom and in front of the render...not my best, but I like it!

C&C is welcome for all my sigs.

add effects on top of the stock/render also instead of just pasting it on a background

So tell me which one is better:

For this one I tried some fancy GIMP effect...I thought it was alright, but wanted to see what you guys think.


I tried to put the tips into practice. I made some blur type effects in front of the render at a 20% opacity, and then used some lighting effects, and minimized the "wow" factor of the text.

Let me know what you guys feel, if it sucks, if it rocks, or whatever...thanks!

Another Star Wars one, based on a request at the game...not a fan of the font or lightsaber, but I did the best with the request I had =/

3 back to back post I can't complain though I do it too. I can't remeber if gimp has filters but if it does try sharpen on the whole image for the star wars sigs.

 

Well, when I don't get C&C its kinda hard lol. maybe ill just edit my posts...
