its not too bad for a 2nd attempt,

but my attetion seems to be drawn away from the focal with that c4d render over it, some of that needs to be erased so it doesnt cover over your focal, doesnt seem like there is much depth, and im not really sure whats goin on with the right hand side, try some brushing around the right and play with the blending options and maybe another c4d

text is probably the hardest thing for a sig, maybe a simpler font in white, then you can lower the opacity so blend it in, or set to over lay with a 1pxl black or white stroke around it, its just playing around till something fits, sometimes no text at all is best

also play around with the filters and try smudging, burning and dodging for shadows and highlights

    hope this helps :)

The first thing that drew my attention were you black tinted boarders.
I don't know about you, but when I create something I'd rather my viewers be more attracted
to my artwork rather than two black lines.

    - There are effects over your render, you shouldn't never completely cover your render
with effects, just partially cover the render so it blends in with the signature.

    - Your tag is very chaotic, when your making a tag try and keep some sort of structure to it. You want
your effects to flow into your focal point ( ie. your render ). When you have your effects
just pointing off in any direction and all over the place, you eye wanders around the tag.

    - That glow you placed around the render isn't really helping much, I wouldn't suggest doing that, it's not
really an effect it just draws awkward attention.

    - Like WolverScream said text is a hard thing to master, but doing what he said isn't going to improve the way it looks.
It's something you have to fiddel around with a lot, and most of the time you probably wont get something that fits,
in that case it's better just to leave it out, because text can really ruin a signature, or if your good enough with text
completely improve the tag, but never make your text the most noticable thing on your signature. Even I can't get
text I like, infact I still have a very hard time with text. So if you can't get a text that goes with the signature just
leave it out of the final version, but keep messing around with text everytime you make something so you can improve
text placement and style. Just if it doesn't fit leave it out. Like notice wolverscream's right signature ( not to rip on your tag
or anything wolverscream ) but the text really draws my eye from the rest of his artwork, its really large and distracting.

    - Try not to use low quality pictures or designs in your artwork, because your artwork then becomes
just like the things you've placed in it, low quality.

Just a few tips I'd like to give you :D

    - There's a tutorial page on this forum, take a look at them and learn a few things then try putting it
to use in your next tag.

    - Experiment with a lot of different effects, and styles just mess around for a while and sometimes you'll
get something amazing, and never settle for just okay, keep working on it until you think its exceptional :D

Yeh, the C4D over the focal puts you off the sig. For a second attempt though, that's pretty good. I mean, I just started the other day, and you wouldn't want to see my second attempt. xD
