So here's the deal, I have not been active at all on GR since the whole team situation has died up. The only reason I ever came and posted on GR was because of the teams, the ridiculously stupid rules here killed teams on GR, and in turn a dying site kept dying even more. I don't see myself getting active here, not much more than I am now, unless the whole team scene picks up again. So I'm wondering if you guys want someone to replace me as a leader. Renegade would be a great choice as he is still active here, but if you guys don't mind a leader who isn't around much, then I'd gladly stay on as a leader to AF.
With the introduction of IPB 3 we will be pushing more on the updates we had planned, so you can expect to see more participation being required for things like the magazine and from crews, I would recommend waiting it out a bit to see how the community responds once we finally get v4 life (mostly waiting on Shaggy atm).
Sure thing. I'm still staying in AF, I just wanted to know how the rest of the team felt about having a very inactive leader, or if they would like to have someone on hand who is more active on GR, more so than I am.
If you're worried about inactivity, you shouldn't be. I visit this site a few times a day, checking only this section, the off topic section, and every now and then Gen Disc. It's rare when people post here now-a-days. If things ever pick back up and you don't become active again, then it would be a problem. But it's all fine. And I'm getting a little annoyed with the requirements pushed on the crews when there's not much of a point anymore. No offense, but the majority of the members who are active and who actually stick around don't give a ---- with most of the stuff crews are supposed to do. Granted, it's not really monitored all that well at them moment anyways. But still, why is it that the crews are the ones that are 'force' (matter of speaking) to help with the inactivity. Notice that the crews have all disappeared and/or are near dead now? I wonder why... Not trying to piss anyone off. Just giving an opinion.
lol, yeah, I know that, was just wondering if the team wanted a leader who is around more often than I am. BTW man, how are things in Carbon? Alright thanks. I completely agree with you with the requirements and rules imposed on us, especially since teams are "low priority" here. It never made any real sense, we're considered low priority, yet they keep asking us to do whatever it is they come up with.
if you want to be active and get the crew active lets do a pack or some ---- mates, if not then we can just stay like this xP
Imo, the staff needs to remove stupid rules on the crews. When they first announced that teams are now a 300 post requirement, I said it was a stupid idea, and then there was Kirbir trying to prove my point wrong. And look now? She's no one to be found and teams are dead. It makes no sense to have added such a ridiculous requirement to teams when already the community was dying. Why make it harder to get into the one thing keeping this forum alive? And then to top it off there's always stupid things teams gotta do. First there was the team league which died out, then resource packs which died, and now some stupid magazine which is already fail. Let this be a lesson for the staff, next time listen to your members. As much as you say "this isn't a democracy" well that's too bad cause you still have to listen to your members. /rant :/
