Already have my rusted and ironbound, full t8 tank and dps set.

I quit my guild. I will probably be making my own, tired of all the BS drama that goes on in high end guilds.

Shortly after leaving my top 10 guild I joined some like top 200 guild for shits and giggles, I was removed because when 1-2 upgrades dropped off of hard modes that I needed, I rolled and was removed because the guild leader also played a death knight and when his death knight is in the group only he receives death knight loot (never mind that it is his alt and he rolled for off spec over a main spec raider).

    Pretty fucking stupid.

Also, regarding Exodus, I don't feel bad for them. They just blatantly proved how much Ensidia gets their asses kissed by blizzard developers. Ensidia has been notorious for exploiting game mechanics for world firsts (and have publicly mentioned it). Hell, they exploited an encounter that *DIDN'T* need to be exploited to down simply because they were falling behind on the world ranking (they were the 3rd or 4th guild to do it?). Not to mention all the shit talking all the Eurofags and Ensidia members did when Exodus became #1 guild in the world. They do the same in PvP too, they don't shake hands, don't say 'good game', etc. its more like, 'fucking nub faggots, rng more lolol'. In particular I enjoyed how they exploited a mechanic to claim a world first and then spasmed blizzard developers with bug related errors towards the exploit so that Blizzard changed the mechanics of the fight within 24 hours and made everyone else re-learn it while Ensidia pulled world first.

No other decent alternatives out there, and without WoW I would have pretty much nothing to do so... waiting for something else to come out that I can spend my life playing.

Also - wtf is up with this horseshit emblem of triumph? Heroics, Maly, Sarth, and Ulduar will be dropping them in addition to 4 new raid saves (or roughly 24 bosses) in the Coliseum, and most of them are dropping 2-3. This means that in a single full run of Naxxramas and Ulduar, you can afford 1 piece of tier 9. Factoring in Maly, Coliseum and a few heroics, you can easily peel 2-3 pieces of t9 off in a week. The worst part about it is that you can get tier 9 gear before ever stepping foot into a raiding instance. Fucking horseshit.

I know you'll get a good ol' big 'n hearty LOL outta this one but I like WAR and play it. I also quit mainly because I only played for arena's, which the managed to destroy. I LOVED the chess games, it made you think and use better timing. I mean I haven't played since the DKHPALLYLOLWIN phase, so i don't know anymore but I still assume it's relevant to say that arena still sucks. The new arena was a joke for anyone to get pieces. The "chess games" (which I loved) at least had some competition, although the PvE in there made it a big downfall (i.e. 2x rogues with 4x glaives or glaive rogue with druid that has the +57(i think) spirit staff off of KJ). And the dynamic bull---- just topped it off for me. dynamic los = pve. Yes I know a pve game. Anyways, end rant, only typed it all because I am bored.

Oh and also, stupid faggots in Vault. <Biggest one I think.

AION should hopefully be good. I really should check WAR out again, and see if its managed to get better since I last played.

AION looks so boring. Graphical excel spreadsheet? No thanks. :D

And I STILL think WAR is fine, they fixed the lag which was the only problem. Now the only problem left is all these whining bitches that they're not OP from using computer games at all...

Juggernaut is trying to recruit me right now.

I don't really want to join a guild, I have been raiding with Elitist Jerks / Serious Casual via their sign up site(s), but meh. Juggernaut is one of the top guilds in the world, right around Exodus' level which is where I left so I suppose I have a standing request to join if I ever want to.

    It gets boring really quick.

Raiding at high levels is much more worthwhile if you enjoy the people you raid with, and the people I currently raid with out of Elitist Jerks and Serious Casual are pretty tight, and very intelligent, so yeah.

Bumping old thread instead of making a new one. I'm kool like that.

3 bars from 80 on my new main, my shaman. Going Enh for raiding/pvp, as I cbf playing elemental. Will also offspec Resto.

Thoughts on TOC? Seems like a massively easy way for nubs to get gear.

Also, Thoughts on Cataclysm? (New xpac.. www.worldofwarcraft.com/cataclysm) .. I've already reserved the best Worgen name.. 'Worgnfreeman'
.. the bringing back and renewing of the old zones will be tops, fighting Deathwing will definately be something to look forward to, the resurrection of Nefarian is a bit homosexual, but whatever.. Rags a dickhead and I'd love never to see him again, but hey..they rezzing him up too.

Also, the resurrection of the Onyxia fight for the 5th Anniversary is also something special to us pre-bc players.

I'm most likely quitting the game after 5 years for Aion due to the casuals and scrubs running around the game now that they made most of the game easily accessible. Cataclysm is a major '**** you' to anyone who helped bring the MMORPG market to mainstream (ie, the nerds) from being known as being that one weird game (Everquest) that the 45 year old basement dweller pedophiles only played. Casuals will join and leave and complain (as shown on the WoW forums) and be sporadic. If you keep your 'elite' set of gamers around and keep them pleased you have a solid database of players who will be long term members who generally won't complain unless something is bugged out and it's legitimate (and, of course, once you take a hardcore raiding game and turn it into where it is now).

I am going to stick around through Icecrown and Coliseum (particularly for the HMs) and see exactly how they incorporate them. Blizzard had said the average difficulty of the heroic coliseum battles are of the more or less 'hard' Ulduar hard modes (I'd assume Freya 3, Mimiron, Yogg 1), so they may take a few wipes to learn, but I doubt they will be overly difficult with a 50 wipe limit on the actual content (I'm thinking more like HM IC, Thorim and Hodir). If they can manage to remake a difficult raid instance, I may stick around, but at this point between 3.2 and the changes announced at Blizzcon I've pretty much honestly lost faith in the company or its policy.

I'll last it out till Cataclysm, then see how the changes are in that. I refuse to leave before killing Arthas. REFUSE.

but if Cataclysm is a mass failure, I'll prolly just go back to playing FPS games haha. Wait around for the next big MMO to take off, and be a late joiner.

I quit the game after i got 25 Naxx geared, i was playing since release too.

I feel the game is a never ending spiral which was keeping me from other things id like to do.
