It is so amazing that people find the need to post this every time. This place isn't DEAD. If it were dead, you wouldn't be here. If it were dead, mttviper wouldn't be here. If it were dead, Greasy Pete wouldn't be here. If it were dead, ghettolt wouldn't be here. If it were dead, Mortified Penguin wouldn't be here. If it were dead, Draxxus wouldn't be here. That's quite a lot of people who shouldn't be here that yet posted in your thread in 2 hours. The rest of GR just doesn't care about you. But that is an other story. Good bye.
There are only so much people that go to off-topic, but there are many more that go to other sections of this forum. You can't really declare a forum dead based on the activity of one section.
Like Nica said, it's funny to see the reactions to a topic like this. All the people bitchin about it, yet they are the first to reply to this topic. If it really were dead, no response would be made to this or any other topic. Gr is just low profile atm, like so many other sites out there, at the beginning of summer. It's the same thing every year again. We will gain activity again, especially with the things we have planned. So either put your money where your mouth is and leave, or shut up.
Because a total of 30 people being banned is the downfall of a site composed of 250,877 members. Yup. Not even mentioning that only about 1/2 of those are my bans, and about half of those total bans are the same member ban evading. People just want a quick and easy escape and to and use it as an excuse to mask what the real reason is. The true problem with GR is with its members. Members became greedy, stopped sharing, more people came and left for places where they could get things for free, or the more mature artists ventured away from all the stupid shit, 'how do I copy a layer' questions we get here among a whole bundle tens of other large reasons. A vast portion of our staff left for similar reasons, hell, the only other admin before Sanity who did anything hasn't even logged on since the 11th of June, and hasn't made a post since early May. Without me and Sanity, quite seriously, a vast portion of *anything* that gets done on this site wouldn't get done. At all. Ever. Long story short, get your heads out of your ass and stop being so fucking stupid and look at the big picture rather than the narrow minded vision you have sat in front of you.
