Keep in mind, it's DEFINITELY not done, but I wanted a general consensus as to its look.

Also, I haven't touched AI in so long I'm surprised it even looks half way decent lol. :P

PS: I am going for sort of a rough look with everything, but a soft glow for the shading.

    Original (drawn by me):

Again, obviously there are certain spots the definitely need line touch ups.

(lol some of my shading is so light you cant even see it in the image xD Ah well.)

What are you using to do your linework? Also, I'm assuming you're doing this in Photoshop, but if you have Illustrator available, there are some considerable advantages to using a vector program in this. Major one I can think of is gradient meshs.

Using AI(Adobe Illustrator). as stated here, "Also, I haven't touched AI in so long I'm surprised it even looks half way decent lol.". :P

But yea, anyways, I haven't used Illustrator in a long time so I spaced completely on gradient meshes. Probably better I stick to the basics to make sure I remember everything anyways.

Also, for the linework, using the pen tool (each part layered how I can remember it). And yes I know the edges are super rough. Some are supposed to be as such (see rough look) but I'm going to take a stab at thinking you meant the outlining and how it's pointy and such. Trust me I definitely wont leave it like that! :D Trying to get my colors and the look down first, then I can go in for the touchups.
