Okay so I have a problem with this ONE game that is Need for Speed: Undercover, I can't seem to run it without the game being ------ing unbelievably slow. I think it has something to do with the graphics card but then again I can play Command & Conquer: Generals, Wanted: Weapons of Faith, Left4Dead, Mirrors Edge etc... just about fine with all the graphic settings at high! I tried changing the graphic preferences in NFS: UC but it didn't help, I even tried bringing it down to low but the game still lags and I think it's 'heavy' in terms of requirements. Here is a screenshot to help you understand better what I am missing/lacking here to run the game properly as if it were running on an 60 or PS3 (well at least as smooth):
As I said, L4D and the other games work perfectly fine and at great FPS without a single moment of lag! I will be trying Burnout 3 later tomorrow but for now what do you mean by Custom drivers? And do you think they could pose a potential problem to my other hardware or maybe my windows? Sorry I just don't know anything about it.
What I mean is that I've only really played L4D since installing them, but it gives an improvment on that compared to official drivers so it should on all games. It won't cause any incompatibility (unless the official ones do) with any other hardware as they are tweaked versions of the official drivers I use These custom drivers, but there are many more around, I've found these to be the best though
So that means my PC and the Graphics card is fit to play NFS: UC? And it's only a matter of time when I install those tweaked drivers.
