How do you guys think the world will end? I think that humanity will engineer a way to kill themselves, whether it be robots, "Smart technology" or a new class of military weapons. Also i was recently reading on cosmic apocolypse. But those odds are small. Even though the events are so spectularly magnificent and aweing. That regular numbers don't apply. Its all billions, and trillions...
Someone will get the better of Dem, and his ego will implode, releasing billions of tonnes of hot air into the atmosphere causing an instant break-down of the Ozone layer, causing the earths temperature to raise by 20 degrees celcius. The polar caps will melt causing trillions of litres of fresh, cold water to rush into the oceans, causing the oceanic currents to freeze. Another ice age will freeze the earth. 1.2billion Chinese nationals will die from cold, causing a break-down in the Chinese industry. The cost of general and basic goods will rise significantly, causing everyone below the poverty line to starve to death. Since all the toilet cleaners and dish-washers in the world will have perished, the rest of the world's toilets fall into a state of disrepair, and dysentery and malaria will sweep the world, resulting in hundreds of millions of further deaths. Without workers, the coal plants, nuclear plants will stop functioning, and the extreme cold temperatures will cause all Wind Turbines and Hydro electric plants to freeze and stop turning. The rest will die due to cold, without any way to power their heaters. Gas supplies will have run out during the initial stages of the Ice Age. Japan will populate the moon.

I don't see it ending because i think some people will be smart enough to survive through the harsh conditions and then repopulate as done in the bible ha

correct, the bible should be placed under the genre: entertainment,fantasy. harry potter though, now thats an story that COULD really happen imo.
