Apart from the teams that will be writing, we are also looking for 1-3 skilled writers to help fill up our monthly magazine. Writers will be asked to write a monthly article (or more). The subjects can vary from graphics to games, photograpghy, freelancing ... You are free to choose your subjects, but you run over them with us editors (eccentriceggman and I) first. Ultimately, we have the decision on what goes and what not. This isn't a staff position. You will not be put in a special group. You will simply work on the magazine and get a monthly fee of 500 creds. Pricing might seem silly, but it's better than nothing. And of course the fame of writing for the magazine applying Well, since we need article writers, it seems only fair that you show us some credentials or that you give us an article you wrote previously. Or you simply write one up now and show that. Don't focus on the layout, just work the text. Layout will be our business later on. So here's exactly what to do: Use word/wordpad/... to write your acrticle At the very top, give us a short explanation about who your are, age, studies, hobbies, work ... Then write your article Save it, upload it and pm it to this account! New position(s) available - as of June 6th Columnist Not everything in the magazine can be all serious so we're also looking for some lighter-note columnists. This isn't exactly the same as an article writer. When you do a column, you do so every month and most of the time it's about something you have experienced yourself or have knowledge of. You give a lot of your own impressions and ideas and of course, you can use a lot of witty language and stuff. So if you're interested in this position, mock up a column and send it to the Gr magazine account! For those that have trouble understanding what exactly a column is ==> Wiki-column
Thanks to those who have already applied. We'll probably be holding this off for another 48 hours (perhaps more) and then pm those members who we think are qualified. So keep submitting applications please
I hope someone like Broken gets the job imo, and not someone who can't write even one sentence without a minimum of 15 typos :P Good luck to all though.
Oh well sounds great! But I don't think I may be eligible for this position since I'm not very good with writing. But I believe Broken will be one of the best writers for this magazine as he's a writer in real life and does all those school projects for writing. But seriously though, I might give it a shot when I think I'm ready for it.
