    Meh, they're just generic metalcore.

Check out The Faceless' new CD, Planetary Duality. It is amazing and creative as well, technical death metal ftw!

Out of the four songs I have by them, all I hear are constant breakdowns, which makes their music rather boring. My friend's 13 year old sister loves them

    I know right.

Being the best Thrash Band of all time, paving the way for I would say more than half the bands you listen too.

They may have paved the way, but I still think they are overrated. Just as I think plenty non-mainstream bands are underrated.

You may think they are the best, but I think they kind of stink, especially the drummer. The guitars are pretty good at some parts, but the singer and the drums I dislike. I think the drummer holds them back, they'd probably get some better stuff if they kicked him out.

If I want to listen to something similar to Metallica, than I'd listen to Bullet for my Valentine. They are influenced by Metallica, but I think they take it up a notch to a much better level.

    I don't like thrash anyway.

    IMO. :D

People also seem to forget that Metallica is far from how it originally was to where it is now. So many band member changes, so many changes in the band a whole to 'modernize' the band, etc.

Frankly, I respect Metallica, for the same reason I respect artists like Ozzy, Black Sabbath, etc. because they really did pave the way for more modern music, but after the Black Album, I don't really like anything by Metallica unless I am in a specific mood.

Haha, St.Anger and Death Magnetic are 2 albums that have the "Metallica" feel.

A bit of thrash is fun to play, but I'm into Killswitch at the mo'. Cool riffs, awsome singing/screaming.
