Think the topic covers it I heard that steelseries is a good brand had a logitech one that lasted about a year but without the usb piece its crap now. Looking for input on steelseries or other brands that you've been happy with.

Never had one myself, but it is the most used headset in GameBattles, and one of the highest rated.

I use the Creative Fatal1ties. They are a damn good buy for $60. Deep, punchy bass, screeching highs, and warm midtones.

I just got a pair of Sennheiser HD555s, and they are extremely nice and comfortable.

But, if you want a mic, the Turtle Beaches are pretty nice, my room mate uses them for Xbox and they sound pretty nice (still like the HD555s, though) especially since his use digital optical out.

I had a Sennheiser, the mic broke down on me. :( Sound was awesome though.

Now I use a Creative Fatal1ty, very satisfied about it.

Been very happy with the logitech I have been using for about 3 years now. Good Audio, and good pickup.

Same as me, quality headset, comfortable with really good sound quality. And not too expensive. (Also, relatively stylish actually, black and red colour scheme).

    Recommended.

I like sennheiser, the 190's series is excellent and affordable. Heard good things about Fatal1ties (besides the ones here :P) atm I have a siberia neckband by steelseries, I like it but its ugly as sin.

I just trashed two turtle beach HPAs... the amp included died. I liked how much bass they had, but build quality is just lacking. Currently using a pair of senheisser HD280s. If I had to suggest a gaming headset solely for gaming, HD55, ATH-A700, or ATH-AD700 based solely on the reviews I find on audiophile forums.
