How did this game get so much positive feedback? The story/cutscenes are ridiculously cheesy and the gameplay is terrible. It's like it can't decide whether it wants to be a platformer or a first person...hand to hand combat? Dunno, but the combat system is terrible as well. Game flow is continually interrupted to beat up some bad AI "blues" or look around for a poorly marked objective.

I got bored of the game after a total of 30 minutes.

Crap was just to frustrating at times, and the gameplay gets hella boring after a while.

Think it needed to be less linear, have more of an option on the direction you take, don't know how well this game would work as a sandbox, but i thought it was boring and i played through 75% of the game before turning it off and playing frogger.

Yeah, the problem was I went into it *kind of* expecting a chance to have some sandbox style playing, but then I realized it was half platformer half terrible combat.

That's what i thought about it, plus with my brother telling me about it (so that i didn't look into it) it sounded really good, but there is only so much roof hopping and annoying but not challenging jumps (part i turned off at the end of t6he game aha).
I didn't like the fact that you were either locked up on the roofs of on the ground (most of the time), in the end it's not worth buying, a better game for renting or borrowing off a mate.

Definitely glad I rented it instead of listening to some of the great reviews it got...

They put more money into advertising than game developing.

It's not that bad of a game, it could be better it just pisses you off really easy. I really only played it for achievments lol.

I'm thinking of getting this on but because of all the bad thing you guys have said I may "borrow" it from my friends who live at the "bay" to try it out before I decide whether or not to buy it.
